About Dr Rik Patel

Dr. Patel is a Sports Medicine Physician who has spent the past 11 years as a partner in a private orthopedic practice specializing in interventional Orthopedics and Spine Care. In 2012, he expanded his practice and created a regenerative musculoskeletal service line focusing on platelet rich plasma, bone marrow concentrate injections and shockwave therapy, and enjoys lecturing on these topics at many peer conferences. Outside of direct patient care, he spends time on executive committees focusing on growth strategy, operations and physician leadership.
He continues to pursue endeavors in the health and wellness space, opening the first OsteoStrong center in NJ and has developed interest in health optimization, biohacking and longevity. He currently consults and serves as an advisor for health start-ups with continued special interest in physician entrepreneurs.
